Despite being the largest health care provider in Portland (and yes, Oregon), OHSU is certainly not the only institution training a generation of healers. In fact, there are numerous students in the Portland area pursuing health careers beyond OHSU's sequestered tree-lined walls, including the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, Western States Chiropractic, and the Oriental College of Medicine. As a part of OHSU's mission to strive "for excellence in education, research, clinical practice and community service," it is important to recognize the sundry facets of health care serving the people of Oregon. ...so how's that for my P.R. plug?
Alright, enough of the insipid monolog. Let's meet these people and party...for free. That's right, when life offers free beer, take your pint and let that bubbly, natural healing begin.
