● Re-Introduction of GSO Officers (1 minute)
● Approval of Past Minutes (1 minute)
● Student Center Update + Info on Intramurals (Heather Ennis)
● Library Update (Jacki Wirz)
● OHSU Student Research Week + Student Research Forum (Jacki Wirz + Allison Anacker)
● Student Newsletter (The Pulse) Call for Material (Will Giardino)
● Collaborative Life Science Building (CLSB) Update (Derek Musashe)

○ It’s not yet clear exactly how many graduate students will be down at the new building
once it’s finished. Most likely it will be around 10-25 total once all the lab space is
occupied.

○ The architects of the CLSB have put together a sketch of the student life lounge area. It’s
currently just a rough sketch of the area, but we will have continued student involvement
in the planning process.

○ There’s a proposition to have a projector or a big screen TV in the area (think Monday
Night Football screenings!), but this hasn’t been fully resolved yet; feedback from grad
students is encouraged!

○ In broad terms, the current idea is to have lounge area in the new building, and possibly
a full student center down on the South Waterfront once the land is built out (10-20 year
timeframe).

● New Business (30 minutes):

○ Announcement of GSO Ski Trip Poll (Derek Musashe)

○ “Outside the Bench” speaker series, put on by GSO (Derek Musashe)

○ Announcement of West Campus Coffee Breaks (Cristina Butterfield)

○ Screening of “Piled Higher and Deeper” (PHD) The Movie (Allison Anacker)

○ Getting involved with GSO happenings (Derek Musashe)
